Prayer Needed..

On Saturday evening at about 11:30 I got word that my dear 26 year old son had to have the first two fingers of his right hand amputated at the first joint after stumbling while mowing the lawn.I had to go down to our local level one trauma center in Buffalo where surgeons worked valiantly for many hours to save them but in the end could save only his ring finger. His pinky finger was only nicked. Please pray that this loss of my son's fingertips will bring him closer to God as he has been at some distance from Him for some time now. Pray for me as I am grief stricken and undone, although my son only saw a strong, supportive father during all of this. time. All praise to our God!!

Dear Brother Timothy,

I am sorry to hear of your son's trauma, and yet relieved that it was not worse. I will pray for both of you in your time of need.

At this moment in time, I can only remind you that the Lord works in mysterious ways and will use even the most trying situations to deepen our faith and love for one another as well as for him. It seems at this moment in time, God is trying to remind us all of the importance of family in our lives.
